What the heck is a tactile feel plunger?
« on: Wed, 26 October 2016, 15:54:01 »
Hello Guys,

As I was browsing on Amazon on my related this keyboard came up (since I research a lot of them like we all do :P ) and I was confused as it says it has a tactile feel plunger and it is not a mechanical keyboard but it was a "Mechanical-Feel" . I was like, what. I wouldn't buy this(have owned and want way nicer keyboards out there) but was curious what it meant and if anyone has any experience with this for learning purposes.

A "better" rubber dome. Probably with a discrete slider, that isn't a part of the keycap.

Like it may also have more travel distance as well I suppose?

Weird, had no idea such things existed.

It was common in the 90s, and it's apparently making a comeback.

It has nothing to do with travel, that's a matter of the dome.

More importantly, what are "dounle injection keycaps"? It's apparently tough resistant, too.

I am dissapointed in Geeckhack, I thought I would learn about all the current keyboard inventions and trends but no one here even knew about  "dounle injection keycaps"

Tactile
Feel Plunger
