Hello, my name is apricot and I'm from Finland. I'm studying ICT in university, hoping to major in Network Engineering. I like to drink tea and build plastic scale model kits.
I've been using mechanical keyboards since 2013 when I got a CMStorm QuickFire TK with MX Browns. If only I would have known back then how addicted I would become to keyboards of all things. Moved on to a Ducky Shine 4 with MX Clears in 2014 in search of greater tactile feedback, but ended up disliking the heaviness of the switches and eventually got rid of it. I got a Leopold FC660M with MX Blues in January and I thought that was the end, but of course I had to try more switches. With help from a Korean friend, I got myself a Topre Realforce 104UB-KB45S, 45g uniform with silencing. Turns out I do not like the angle of the keys on the Realforce, so I'm looking to get rid of it. Also I think Topre isn't tactile enough for me, or at least 45g isn't.
I joined geekhack thinking that I might want to participate in a group buy for some keycaps at some point, but we'll see about that since I am quite satisfied with the standard keycaps on my Leopold.
The ergonomics subforum has been a very useful resource in setting up my desk for comfortable computing.
I'm hoping to become a member of the community with quality contribution to this forum, thanks for reading!
