SkiData is one of the most beautiful GMK made keyboards in my eye.
I've read older posts from here and DT that these were once lower than 55€. And people used it as the source for the GMK SkiData caps and MX clear, and there were a few posts about sending these bare-bone SkiData to new homes. This triggered my conscience about scrapping old boards, and am still self-questioning what is acceptable to do and what is not, and what are some better ways of repurposing.
Of course, as long as it doesn't end up in a junkyard, the new owners of bare-bone SkiData can always put in more TLK, like some new replacement switches and a new set of key caps.
Given people can find GMK SkiData caps and MX Clear elsewhere, at this new price, only serious collectors will approach it.
It is better this way - as long as the seller do not need money quick.
