ISO Keyboards for my "switch" collection
« on: Wed, 23 November 2016, 20:35:26 »
I don't really know if this is the right place for this or not  :)) but I'm in search of some keyboards for my "switch" collection. I currently have these:

Blue Label Model M (Buckling Spring)
KBT One (Cherry MX Tactile Greys)
CMStorm QuickFire Rapid (Cherry MX Blues)
CMStorm QuickFire Stealth (Cherry MX Greens: Newest addition, got it yesterday)
MaxKeyboard Nighthawk X8 (Cherry MX Browns)
SteelSeries 6GV2 (Cherry MX Reds)
and a Cherry G84-4100 (Cherry ML Switches).

I am still wanting keyboards with these switches:

Cherry MX White
Cherry MX Clear
Cherry MX Linear Grey
Cherry MX Black
Cherry MX Silver
NMB RT101+ with "Space Invader" switches
A Topre keyboard (HHKB or RealForce)

If this topic is in the wrong place please notify me so I can put it where it belongs.
THANKS! ^.^

I just don't want to have to go through all of the trouble trying to FIND all of the ALPS switches. The only keyboard I've been looking for, with ALPS, for YEARS is a Ducky 1087XM with the Green ALPS. Also looked into a Dell AT101 with black ALPS but...meh. :))

MX Black switches are hard to avoid as soon as you look into vintage Cherry G80s on ebay.

Best chance of getting a keyboard with MX Clears is looking for GMK-made keyboards like Skidata or WeyTec boards.

The one MX White keyboard I found was supposed to be a Nixie board and surprisingly had MX Whites. Needless to say, I  hate MX White now.

Not sure if there's such a thing as a full board of MX Linear Greys. They are very common as space bar switches on vintage Cherry G80s though.

MX Silver is a brand new switch, you can find them in Pok3r keyboards afaik.

The Ducky doesn't use Alps switches and the AT101 is really just the start of a bottomless vortex... XD
