Need help with EasyAVR
« on: Tue, 29 November 2016, 19:53:40 »
Hi all,

I am having issues with a GH60 Rev C PCB. I'm using EasyAVR and FLIP to do my programming using the instructions found here:

https://github.com/dhowland/EasyAVR

I installed the Atmel driver by right clicking the PCB in device manager and manually installing the USB driver. It correctly shows as an Atmel USB device labeled ATmega32U4, the hex file I built was just basically a standard 60% layout, I flashed it to the PCB and everything looks like it worked, there were no errors.

Right now I'm not using a soldered board to test the PCB, I just have a switch in the board touching the soldering points while the PCB is plugged into a USB port. But when I press the test switch, the keystroke doesn't register so I don't think it has any keys programmed.

Lay the board down and check each switch position. I use a pair of tweezers to short the contact points. Some positions like the multiple space switch positions will be duplicates & some won't register (Fn for example).
