Hi all! Just wanted to drop by here and say hello. I had been lurking the r/mk subreddit for some time, thanks to my brother who gave me his CMStorm Quickfire Pro (with MX Browns). I've been using this keyboard for a while, and I thought that perhaps I could pick up a new hobby

Keyboards, after all, are the bread and butter in the work I do (I do lots of programming and engineering/research/academic work, as well as enjoy writing -- both handwriting and typed short/creative writing.
After attending the very recent DMV area (USA)
reddit Cheeto Enthusiast meetup, I've finally decided to jump into the play. A close friend of mine saw my budding interest in mechanical keyboards and gave me a wonderful TADA68. And voila! Here I am looking to join this awesome community, seeking neat configurations and setups to achieve finger nirvana as well as aesthetic perfection, albeit it might be quite costly (T-T why SA keycaps, why). And in two birds, one stone, doing some of the DIY work involved in PCB / board work will also improve my skills (as an electrical engineer)!
I look forward to joining in this fun ride with you guys (mostly guys, right?)!
