Right Handed Nostromo Help
« on: Tue, 26 January 2010, 05:17:03 »
Hi everyone,

My friend 2 years ago bought a Nozzy N50 and then proceeded to convert it to be used in his right hand. He then gave it to me and for the last 2 years it's been more faithful then my wife. However the last few weeks it kept on switching off.

When I finally decided to open it I noted that a wire was loose. Now me being all thumbs in trying to fix it pulled on some other wires and hey presto I now have a nozzy with wires that need soldering and one that come out completley(don't ask how).

So my question to all you learned people is, where can I get a schematic that show me where the wires should go? Should I just by a soldering iron and run riot?

My friend and I are no longer on speaking terms so any help you could give me would be more than appreciated.

Thanks friends.

Your wife didn't sleep with your buddy, did she?  That's the vibe I was getting.

Post some high resolution pictures. I have a N50; I'd be willing to open it up to help this project.
I trolled Geekhack and all I got was an eponymous SPOS.

you could also solder some new wires to the empty solder points
then you can quickly test all combinations without soldering

Thanks m8 anyway for looking ( and for sorting out my pics. I'm a complete dweeb).

Anyone have any recomendations for something simular to the N50/N52 for a lefty (would fit in my right hand)?

Seems everything is for you righties!!! :)
