Hello

I'm looking to buy a Topre Realforce. I found a candidate with good price, but its layout is JIS. So it has extra keys on the left and right of space bar (things like "kana" key) and an extremely small spacebar.

I'm a noob and am unable to physically mod a keyboard (opening it up cabling stuff together etc). So is there a soft-mod, such as using Autohotkey where I can assign these JIS keys to other keys? I want all three extra keys around the space bar (or at least the closest ones) as, guess what, space bar.

The extra key on the very left of space bar I need especially to be assigned as another space bar key because while gaming I tap the very left of the space bar, which will be an unassigned key if I buy this keyboard and cannot soft mod it with something like Autohotkey.

Is this absolutely possible?

Thanks

P.S. I intend to use Windows with Turkish Q layout.

P.P.S. (edit) I've read through but didn't want to revive https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=57973.0 which is related.
