Removing Unicomp keycap?

I just bought an Ultra Classic Unicomp. Two of the switches seem to have the spring dislodged and I wanted to remove the keycap. I took one off and underneath is another grey keycap. This one is harder to remove. Any tips?? Thanks in advance!

Well I figured out how to do it. For some reason, the keycap puller pulling straight up just did not work for me. But prying from side with a screwdriver got it off real easy!

yeah, you can use a hammer to put them back on.

That hurts to hear you say that. In the future, just pull and wiggle a little bit and they should come off with the puller no problem.

Yikes! That's like using a hammer to drive in a screw. If anyone else reads this who's in a similar situation—please, just persevere with the key puller. That's what it's for.

I use a wire keycap puller but wriggle it gently around in a small circle - works for MX, Topre and BS.

Or, if your fingers are strong enough, just lever it gently off with them.
