Question about the DasKeyboard Model S Pro LEDs
« on: Sun, 22 January 2017, 04:16:38 »
Okay, so before anyone starts calling me a noob, I would like to clarify that I am not talking about installing LEDs to the key switches themselves, rather I am inquiring about the strange dome-shaped diode LEDs that are used for the indicator lights for Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, and Num Lock.

I've recently just managed to (after jumping quite a few traces,) to find out my friend's Model S is missing an indicator LED (I'm guessing a previous owner removed it while they were experimenting,) I'm presuming anyone viewing this thread will most likely be familiar with the insides of the DasKeyboard PCB and know what I'm talking about; Would anyone happen to know the technical name for those things, and where I could find them? It'd be cool to surprise him with a different color of those as a mod, or something like that.

Will post pictures of said LED if asked.
