Note the raised protrusion in the middle.
They feel like I've heard Cherry browns described.
Keyboard was actually made by Alps (and has an Alps trackball attached,) I forget what the part number is. It's in an RDI PowerLite laptop.

This is what's in the 386 laptop numpad I posted about a while back.
It's definitely by Alps, and definitely is an old design (again, 386SX-20 laptop). They do feel like Cherry browns or close.

It was a -33, oops. Ultinet/NanTan. Still have some bits and pieces from it floating around, including the interestingly dedicated graphics card.
