I love the design, but, I think you are missing a trick here. I'd put a blanking plate on the back that can have ports, so you can mount either a nano comp 80's style, a usb hub, or a powerbank that can charge through USB-C under the wrist rest. It's space begging to be used. If you don't want to develop it into a full product, powerbank being the easiest, I guess; just offer an aluminum insert for the rear + an easily dremmel'd mild steel / acrylic plate and some screw mount points to which you can attach user's own project's ports. Plus, leave some mounting offsets under the wrist rest.
