Help Identify RGB LED for Viper V760
« on: Sun, 12 March 2017, 04:17:46 »
Hi,

Recently one of my LED's from my V760 keyboard has stopped lighting green. I've opened up the keyboard and checked the LED and it's blown, i'm looking for a replacement but i can't seem to find one anywhere. So if anyone knows where i can find one or the part number of the LED (if they have one) please let me know. The LED is in the picture attached.

Well, you might need to figure the pin configuration out first or you might get wrong color.

For example the one that Tactile gave, has 1- Red; 3-Blue; and 4-Green, whilst this one, just for example has 1-Red; 3-Green; and 4-Blue. You can test it using multimeter or 3V battery in line with resistor. Maybe you can contact the manufacturer to ask the rgb pin configuration.

Thanks for the answers. Yes the first led is not the one i need as the 3 pin is Green for my LED that is the color that burnt from that LED.
I will try to contact the manufacturer and see if i can get something but i doubt it.
Maybe someone did an custom keyboard with these kind of LED's ?
