Hi from Italy
« on: Tue, 28 March 2017, 07:30:17 »
Hello,
after trying a friend's custom-made mechanical keyboard I got hooked and ordered an under-priced Filco from Japan.
Anyway, after having tried my friend's MX Blacks, my Filco's red switches feel very good, much lighter, which is not a problem for me. I'm not afraid of accidental strokes 'cause I'm a light typer so any barely-touched key must be registered.
The ringing is extremely loud, though, I'm definitely going to look into another brand's Reds or a the Silent Reds since those tiny rubber bumpers in the Silent variant shouldn't clank so much, right? Plus I don't think I would like the naked plastic risers that many brands sport.
Point was to introduce myself and talk about my mech experience so far but I'm starting to ramble so I'll see ya all around in the threads.
