So uhh just turned in my form in, hope that I made it even though it's been three weeks since the closing date.  :-[

In for a Bezel ANSI D with split backspace and 1.25u-1.25u-1.25u-6.25u-1u-1u-1u-1u-1u-1u bottom row.

Seems abit TOO late... I wonder how's the progress of this thing.
Anyway, if you don't get it I might sell mine depending on my financial situation LMAO.
Bezel ANSI D with split backspace but normal btm row.

Hey guys!
I am also wondering wheather I'm still able to join this GB (since the form is still open).

75% seems to be such a nice layout (this one especially), I'm really digging it. But they also seem to be quite hard to finde :/

Hows the progress of this? Really excited for my first 75% keyboard.

Just checked in with him, PCB traces are done, but will need SMT/IC parts soldered on by the factory.
Should be a week, cases will be ordered as well (takes very little time in comparison).

Hey guys, this is going to be my 1st build. Just a few questions I have that could maybe be answered. Pretty much just not sure how the case LED's work. Are they coming already assembled or do I have to buy some and solder then in? If thats the case, I'm not too sure where to solder them.
The only other question is if the kit comes with stabs or not? Thanks!~  ;D

The RGB underlighting should come presoldered. If you want per-switch LEDs you will have to solder those by yourself. I don't remember for stabs.

Wait, are you certain about this?  I specifically asked Lee this question and was ensured each switch had it's own LED.  This was one of my reasons for purchasing this keyboard...

Perhaps he meant each switch can have an LED soldered. I own a different keyboard that uses this pcb and there aren't any special presoldered per switch LEDs. The Zeal60 is pretty unique in having that. On other keyboards you have to thread the led through the switch so there isn't a way to solder the LED on before you have the switch in.

Each switch can have an LED soldered in but they typically do not come pre-soldered. RGB LEDs for underglow come pre-soldered though.

Wow.  I don't know how to feel about that now.  That was a lot of money to spend for something I thought was the perfect match.  I haven't soldered anything in 20 years and wouldn't even know where to begin to do this procedure.  Truly disappointed now.

Did you put the assembly service on your request? It was an option on the order form for $90.

If you ordered it fully assembled then you'll have your LEDs soldered. When I was talking about RGB coming presoldered and LEDS not coming soldered I was talking about for people who didn't order assembly.

I am worried mainly because I actually paid for the assembly services as well. While I understand that assembly takes time, I'd like some assurance, I guess. I don't know, more communication maybe. There's too many news of GB gone bad in GH and that made me nervous. Hope this is not the case. By August, we would have passed the 90 days window that Paypal gives.

There's always a risk.  You can go ahead and avail yourself of paypal to get communication and assurances, and pull out if you don't trust that, but beyond that, you pay your money, you take your chances.

You also have 180 days with Paypal, not 90.

I think there is a little worry, but then again leeku is pretty well known in the community, and has run GB's before. This doesn't mean it's guaranteed that you will get what he promised, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for a month and a half delay. Hopefully it comes sooner rather than latter

First post still says Aug 15th, but deadline would be Aug 30th, so I assume that's the window in which boards are going to be shipped. Any chance we can get a confirmation on what the status of the order looks like? I think only the PCB's were supposed to be missing right?

looks like the schedule has been updated - and we're looking at getting weekly updates from Leeku.  I am guessing we won't be getting these shipped out by 30th of August if pcb's are only being ordered now, but I am still looking forward to this GB :D

Sincere sorry for all.
I've been though another tough month.
I'm sorry to beg your understanding for another month delay.

I canceled personal trip to Europe on September as well because of killing workload.
So this GB is my 1'st priority now following my living job.
I'm ordering the PCB now and I'll update the progress every week or 10 days from now.

It seems bad luck to run this GB.
I really appreciate your patience.

Thanks.

From the OP if people are just checking newer posts for updates.

given the original timeline of this GB a ~2 month delay is still pretty quick as far as keyboard groupbuys go. Hopefully everyone can understand that and be patient waiting for this board   :)

Leeku I hope you get some personal time in the future and thanks for devoting your already limited spare time to this :thumb:
