Thanks for pointing that out. Apparently this style of keycap printing is not known for it's durability. I ordered a black Cherry G80-11900LPMUS-2 which I believe is laser engraved with white infill. Hopefully these are a little better.

The 11900 has a really nice touchpad, although it does not support advanced modern 2-finger-type operations.
