So, I want to build some aristotle switches. I understand that I need to transplant Taiwan white stems into gateron or zealio housings, and it'seemed preferable to use clear tops if when using gats.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to find much information regarding Aristotle switch spring-rates. I did find a video on YouTube which compared the click with different springs, but the guy didn'the actually say what the spring were (wtf?!). I've also seen posts which claim that higher spring-rates reduce reverb, but once again no specifics are given.
I know more than a few people have built boards with these switches. My question for you is what springs worked for you and why? How do different spring-rates affect pitch? Does anyone have audio of the differences? Anything else that should be noted?
Thanks.
