Interesting Tandem Computers Keyboard

At least I think it's kind of cool! Picked it up mainly just based on looks. Is any one familiar with this board? Sold as a Tandem Computers 6530 Keyboard but no label on this one. It's heavy with a solid metal back case. The thing weighs a ton - 9 lbs!

The keys do have a nice feel actually. Looks like a long shot getting it working though - does anyone happen to know anything about the protocol and connector pinout for these boards? Sure would be nice if I lucked out and an existing converter would work!

Yeah, that's key tronic's older version of their foam and foil switches.
