Hello GH!
I was able to acquire an Access-IS keyboard with PN AKE104696/1-STK15. I like the build but there are delays in key inputs/registrations. I tried plugging it's serial port thinking that it might pull more power and fix the issue. Still no good.
I thought that giving this keyboard new controller is the best approach. My question is, where do I start? I have spare teensy clone but will acquire teensy if really needed.
Here's something about the keyboard:
Ribbon that connects the actual keyboard from the reader/scanner. Can I tap on to these and connect to pro micro? Which pin goes where? How would I know the keyboard's matrix?
Keyboard mouse pointer. I wish to make this work with the controller as well. Will 1 controller be enough? I saw hasu's TMK has orphan project named serialmouse_usb. Will that work?
There are two atmega161 soldered on the reader/scanner board. Can i use this isntead of external/separate contrller? Just curious but... I honestly wish to keep it as is and make the scanner work for some other projects.
So... whare do I start?
Thanks GH!
