122 Key Terminal Ms - Lot of Five

A lot of 5 122 key terminal Ms. The shipping is a good price. Although you probably won't be typing on these anytime soon, they'd make a large parts cache to have on hand.

Those would be good for harvesting IBM aluminum logo badges. However, I don't want to know the shipping, it'll be massively expensive.

You've learned well.

I want the hat keys.

I don't want a whole keyboard just to get them.

Whoever wins these, I'd buy one off you for a reasonable price. I like the [strike]kishy[/strike] dw_junon 122-key body swap, and this would provide the shell.

Edit: I'm no longer in the market, having acquired a 122-key through sethstorm.

True, but at least they're a lot more common than M13 black keys.

The only way to get them with labels is to get them from a keyboard.

Body swap? Huh?

I think you mean cable swap lol.

Same may go for the hat keys...but the keyboards themselves aren't as rare.

I should have said dw_junon's body swap. For whatever reason I attributed that mod to you kishy :)

What were you wanting from the terminal board? I've got a Terminal M w/ hatkeys, if you dont mind it being post-conversion, not being period-correct, and having zipties arranged into a strain relief.

Would I be wrong in thinking that particular 1387033 has a Model F style frame?  Second, would it make the 1387033 suitable for Blue Cube use (given keycount) or would I run into issues with scancodes?

Either way, I'm more than casually intrigued at the "tenkeyless" board(and how it may be modded).  Rubber dome keys would actually make it easier to go with M13-black keys(smart-trex),  and the top set of keys can hold any part of the "tenkey cluster" I want.  The only missing information is if they're convertible straight to PS/2 and/or the DIY USB controller.  It seems to be a Space-saver for us Super Carrier/Aircraft Carrier fans.

Note right edge of this frame versus my Terminal F frame.  That is, the 1387033 having a metal bottom like the F.

Center of picture, look closely.  That is why I advise STRONGLY against using power tools with such a case.

Yes, it has hat keys in this configuration.  It also has a short PS/2 cable.

With all this talk of terminal boards, it makes me want to find a 3290 plasma terminal screen and something to turn it into a suitable serial/etc. console.
