Screwing up here.   Is there an "easy" way to provide a hyperlinked text?   Or is it just easier to cut/paste the entire Ebay url??

Thanks......still a newb....

130 posts a still a n00b, impressive.

You can copy-pasta and it will automatically link, alternatively, when making a post there's an icon of a globe with two chain links underneath. Click that, enter the link, and the highlighted part of the blurb of text afterwards in what you can change to give the link a name.

Example

I find it's a bit easier to type the link name, highlight it, then click the chained globe and paste the address.

I remember my noob days when I didn't know how to set up my own avatar.  If you post on the forums enough you will get the hang of these things.

Depends on what you want to put in there.

I just re-use an image that I've used for avatars.

Piece of advice.  Whatever avatar you choose don't animate it.

I've been trying to find the animated version of that with the "THIS IS SPARTA" face superimposed over his...and have been unsuccessful.

Ahhhh.....Manyak's avatar.   I have to FULLY credit Manyak for turning me over to the "Geek" side.   5 wks ago, I was the miserable owner of a G15  (can't type on that thing to save my life) and numerous Apple keyboards.   Now look at me.  I have an entire mountain of mechanical keyboards  LOL.

Good advice. Animations can be so tacky.

Agreed. I find animated avatars highly annoying. Even if they look good.
