Do you have actual pictures of the different wood options? Or know a website where I can find those?

Second question; you mention different weights, what's the weight difference between the different kinds of wood?

I might use it as a keyboard to take to work so prefer something lighter

From memory, the pok3r plate is a bit wider than standard. Do some searching around the kbdfans 60% aluminium case thread and you should find more details - they're a bit hazy for me.

Unfortunately, I don't have many of the PCBs mentioned in the comments section. But the general rule of thumb is that so long your 60% PCB has the same 6 screw's positions and even better so if it fits into a normal standard 60% case. It will be compatible.

The screw's positions of the wood case are as followed:

About the wood options, I've already updated at ic and order link, you can find it here if you want.

Different wood would have different weight. Bubinga is the heaviest of the 6. if you prefer a lighter case, we would suggest Maple or Ash.

Sorry to tell you our current case is in black walnut wood, but not Bubinga. We've shot the photo under the sun, so it may be brighter than the sample.

OP, if there is ever a R2, I might go for a light color, such as Maple.

While I don't have a case with the logo engraved inside, please expect it to be relatively smaller than the logo at the back, positioning at the left side within the case.

Oh, I just thought of one more thing: feet.

Any chance of getting some recessed circles for rubber bumpons/feet so that the case doesn't slide around (or have the bottom get scratched up)?

Sorry guys. It's been really busy this week, so we can’t reply in time.

About the feet, we haven't include a recessed area on the case for feet, however we do include removable mounting in the order. We decided we didn't want to fix an area for mounting, so you are free to paste and adjust it wherever you like on the wood case.

Hi, sorry again I don't have a DZ60 in hand, our wood case is a very standard 60% case, the rule of thumb is if it has the same screw areas as the one I marked (please refer to reply #15) it should fit. Also, if your pcb fits with standard sizes 60% cases such as 5 degrees, yes it would fit well on the wood case.

And nope we don't have an MOQ.

I can sympathize about being intimidated by assembling a board from scratch for the first time.
That's why I'm probably going with a fully assembled board like this one, for this particular case.

That's actually really handy. YD60BLE is one of the Bluetooth PCBs I really appreciate, it's much more stable and works so smoothly.

Bigger would only be trouble.

I have 3 other wood cases at the moment. All of them have warped over time as they age. Unless they’ve cut these close to final form and let them sit for a year or so, they will probably also warp in time. Imagine how bad that would turn out with a tkl or full-size board.

I just use various size feet/pads on the bottom to accommodate for warped cases to keep them from wobbling while typing.

Yes there is QC control, we will also check every case before shipping. Every case will be numbered and recorded before we send it out.
