What PCB is this and how to get it into bootloader mode
« on: Thu, 31 May 2018, 19:04:21 »
Hi experts,

I got this 60% PCB from Aliexpress which came together with a wooden case. I was expecting a GH60 as advertised but apparantly it looks like a different one. The pic of the PCB can be found in the following link:

Can any experts advise what PCB is this? The vendor directed me to http://blog.winkeyless.kr/183 to install firmware.

Reason I am asking is because I think I may have uploaded the wrong firmware using the Bootmapper Client v0.10.0 and right now the bootmapper client does not recognise the PCB. Typing on the keyboard does not generate any keystrokes. To make matters worse, I may have uploaded an empty keymap before I flashed the wrong firmware.

I tried pressing Q, L-Ctrl, U or P and plugging in the USB but I can't get into the bootloader mode required for me to flash the firmware.

TLDR - Is there any other way to flash the PCB or get it into bootloader mode.

Thank You in advance.

Honestly just a shot in the dark, but is it a Tada68 ?

EDIT: Maybe a sentraq board? Again just guessing.

In the second picture, it looks like there's a spot for a reset switch. If you can get your hands on one and solder it in, you can use that to put the board into bootloader mode. Otherwise, you can try bridging the ground and reset pins on the MCU directly with a needle or something. Not really sure what kind of PCB it is.
