Just ordered me one, awesome deal you guys got here with these broken PCBS! They may not be true vintage blacks, but I suspect 90% of the smoothness with vints comes from just being well broke in TBH. So I doubt there is a huge difference between them & these.
Now I need to order a desoldering iron. Is there one that you recommend?

I've had pretty good results using one of these cheap de-soldering irons,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00068IJSG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The only gripes I would have against it is it doesn't have temp control & the tips wear out pretty quick. Thankfully they are replaceable & not too expensive for replacements. That said as with any product YMMV with one of these vs a sodapullt.
