Now this looks like a nice and clean one.   Black frame with one piece caps on an '87 unit.   And the rivets repaired??  Good deal.  Tiny scuff on the far left, but I bet that can be scrubbed off.

The King

And I just bought this.  I think I officially have a keyboard buying problem.

He has a Black M13 up there too, which looks to be in very good condition.

I managed to snag a like new M13 for $55 due to Microsoft Windows sharp eyes.

I don't think they're worth $55, but that's just mho.   The keycap printing sucks.   And the trackpoint is slow.

That Model F AT looks good!

Brian O'Neill is a good Ebay seller as well.

Good to know.  Now I won't feel so bad tearing into mine.   And I have a reference point to compare to.

I tried that.   Still too slow  :)

Just my opinion.....I'm sure others love the M13 to death.

Dang, I just bought a model M mini from a random seller because Brian didn't have any. I'd have paid the extra $15 to get one of Brian's refurbs without hesitation.

I'm glad now that I didn't go for the black M13. I have my sights on other game.
I trolled Geekhack and all I got was an eponymous SPOS.

M13 is the only game in town if you want Black Model M keys with lettering.  I gotta stop typing on this GI Joe Mini with black keys right now and do some key coating experiments.

It's just weird how the black keys bring out the green in the Industrial Mini.  This came from Brian O'Neill (rarekeyboardstore) in brand new condition with no missing rivets.

Do those black keys get shiny after a while? That's one of my pet peeves with black keys.

They go shiny, the lettering wears off and the plastic crumbles around the edges. The quality of those M13 keys is laughable.

Great keyboard though!
