Ha! I was sure this was a reference to the used model M on ebay UK that had a £100 BIN price.

> 1984 IBM J2 Model M Alps Sliders Clicky Key Keyboard

At least they pictured the DEC 86 on the sticker.
I trolled Geekhack and all I got was an eponymous SPOS.

A HA! Another test for keyboards, fits just after the ricercar torque test.

Even though the entire listing is incorrect, that still would be a decent keyboard for one cent if anyone wins it.

Give the guy a break - obviously they aren't his thing and it could be much worse.  At least he appears honest if you go by the feedback.  (At least I'm hoping he is... I just bought a 1990 model M from him for $10 last week.  It has yet to arrive, but the pics looked good, and I was able to to give him some precautionary packing tips based on the two that arrived with a few of their keys rattling around in the box with them!)

We're nitpickers, not malicious. Just funning.

Besides, some of his info is wrong, and misleading. Making spurious claims in ignorance within an auction description isn't a survival trait.
