Not sure if that one is a virgin, I mean the box is opened  :-\ Also that one isn't even old enough to drink yet.

The keyboard's the virgin, Mr. Fussy, not the flippin' box. Besides, I knew virgins in high school who'd done a lot more than having their covers lifted.

Also that one isn't even old enough to drink yet.

So you wouldn't drink 19-year-old wine? Must be nice.

Look, it's an unused 2nd-generation M (note the fixed cable), not even one of Lexmark's thinned-down variants... If the seller's willing to take a C-bill for it, I doubt you'd find another NIB BS M for less.

I’m with JP on this one, but perhaps for different reasons. You start throwing letters into part numbers and it starts seeming “less IBM” to me. Plus, I personally prefer the classic Lock LED overlay. That’s not to say that it isn’t an excellent board though  ;)

That looks like a Greenock label to me. I have had dozens of Model Ms, and only 3 didn't work - all 1999 42Hs from Greenock.
Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”

I guess it just is what it is, then. (It actually was what it was all along, but let's not argue verb tense here.)

Seller says: "The box is even in fantastic shape but has a spot where a candle sat on it and transferred some wax onto the outside; never on the keyboard itself." This is just according to the description, though. The description for the item. On its auction page.
