Update! Jan 28, 2019: The set is officially going to be made. Take advantage of group buy pricing until Midnight on Feb. 3, 2019. At that point pre-order pricing will take effect.

May 4, 2019: all group buy orders are shipped. Extras avail tomorrow, Sunday May 5 2019, at 5PM EST on my site.

May 6, 2019: No 6.5u spacebars were included and I failed to realize this before I shipped the kits. I'm working on getting them.

This is Slate.

The name Slate is a reference to both the color of the set and the fact that you can mix and match this set with others for unique looks. Using the shades between 9009/Muted/OG Cherry sets and the Dolch family, this GMK keyset provides a rock solid base on which to customize.

Alongside EnjoyPBT Slate we'll be offering PB modifiers.

PB draws its inspiration from the mid-90's Packard Bell logo:

You're definitely set with a gray 6.25u spacebar in the base kit.

Teal spacebar may actually be 6.5u for layouts that use non standard bottom row. Thought it may be a typo at first

Please don't get offended easily, I joint the GB and simply want things to be done right. And I believe you are one of more experienced persons to pull this off.
Not at all trying to say that the color should look close to Muted, that was just for comparison.

If you treasure being straightforward, I have to plainly say that the color of this round of sample for EnjoyPBT Slate simply does not match the render:

At least to my bare naked eyes.

Well, perhaps just me and all others are happy to leave the colors stay this way despite what I have pointed out.
In order to convince me that this sample is already a qualified final for the initially intended colors, perhaps you need some photos with corrected white balance to compare against the render and the patone color plates.

In order to convince me that this sample is already a qualified final for the initially intended colors, perhaps you need some photos with corrected white balance to compare against the render and the patone color plates.

Those are preliminary renders as the IC says, and weren't included in the GB phase since I know they aren't accurate. I don't have irl pantone color plates to compare, and I'm not sure if I can get 100% proper white balanced pics for you - but I'll see what I can do. Those original renders were using a tone based on the RGB values GMK gives for their 2B color chip. You can see in the below pic, the alpha tone is not identical to CC, but is slightly lighter/warmer (this is intended):



I have two rounds of samples (just legends adjusted between them) and both have met my spec as far as what I want these to look like. I've been working pretty closely with Janglad to get some proper (mostly) accurate renders done.

If all else fails, you're free to come hang out in Dayton for a day or two and check the set out yourself.
