The most I would offer for any IBM Model M would be $30. But then, I'm not really in need of a mini right now anyway.

I looked at some of this guys other store mechandise for sale. Either he doesn't
know much about this hardware or he thinks its all made of gold. Prices are so very "too high".

I would guess since the Buy it Now price is $300, that he's looking in the vicinity of 200+.   But it no one bites, and he needs it sold, he might compromise.

You really don't need to spend that much on a Space Saving Mini.   Unless you just need to have that cardboard box.  Or unless your name is Ripster.

The downside of NIB: too many boxes to store!

After getting my hands on a lovely  '86 0131 with only 3 rivets missing, I would agree that some cleaning agent and a box may sometimes be the only difference.
