Has anyone tried Kailh BOX Pink by Novelkeys yet?

I haven't seen any reviews and they seem to be able to replace Cherry MX Blue for me in terms of weight. Has anyone tried them and share the opinion?

I've tried them and I quite like them.  They're definitely closer to the white end of the white-navy spectrum than the navy end, but then I always kind of liked box whites.  They were just a bit too light and the tactility a bit too subtle for my tastes but they weren't bad.  Navies, on the other hand, are a fun novelty that feel very satisfying in isolation but I think they're kind a bit too much for serious sustained typing.

Pinks really are the 'just right' switch for me at least.  Of course others may disagree but I feel like they solve the issues I had with box whites without going crazy like the navies did.  I am a bit surprised that they haven't gotten more attention.

Yeah it baffles me that noone talks about them. Is it possible to type on them without bottoming out? I wonder whether I should pull the trigger. I have a Pok3r with MX Blues that waits for a proper switch replacement. I loved Navies but as you said they were too heavy and Jades just didn't feel good due to the imbalance between the clickbar and the spring.

Honestly they feel very similar to pale blues, which is expected as it is a similar concept of heavy spring with a lighter click bar(but the click bar is larger so a bit more tactile than pale blues). They don't have nearly the tactile feel of the jades but more than jades, plus they aren't nearly as heavy as navies so they are more comfortable for me to type on(and I use clicky space invaders daily which are a heavy clicky switch).

I am not the biggest fan as I love the tactile feel of jades, but I think a slightly heavier jade would be better than a box pink, may try and put the spring in a jade and see how that feels. Pinks are harder to bottom out than jades, but not to the level of navies, which is obvious lol. All and all if you don't like the snappy jades, and navies are too heavy, pinks are a pretty good middle ground and are still good switches, just not tactile enough for my liking.

Edit: Pink Jades are better than both for tactility and weight btw.

I've got a 10-pack of BOX Pinks that I've been trying in a 3 by 3 tester block.  Before getting them I was leaning more toward the Box White.  The Pale Blue were a little too heavy and the thick clicks were both a little too much tactility for my taste.  I tend to prefer lighter switches overall.  I recently tried a Cherry MX Clear board (Vortex Cypher), but I found the switches too heavy.  I also recently ordered a cheap-ish DIY hotswap board (still waiting on it) and I'm planning to populate it with the Pinks to get a feel for how they are in a full board.

In the tester, they have a more rounded feel overall and more cushion than the Box white, while still being a little lighter than the Pale Blue.  The sound is a bit more subdued with a lower pitched click than the White.  It's hard to say if I'll like them in an actual board, though.  I thought the MX Clear felt OK on a tester, but it really took a lot more effort with sustained typing.  Right now, I'm using Cherry Blue and Silent Red in two different Leopold FC660Ms.  I like the feel of the Blues but really dislike the high pitched after-rattle.  If I really like the Pinks in the hotswap board, I may end up soldering them in place of the Blues on the Leopold.

I'm also surprised at how little people have taken notice of the switch.
I put 45g springs in mine (same weight as whites), and it pretty profoundly exaggerates the tactility.
They basically become more tactile BOX white switches, which if that sounds nice to you, it is.

I bought some to sample from novelkeys a little while ago. When I tried them I bought 110 more  ;D

I'll be swapping out my box navys for these.

Retooled boxes still destroy cherry keycaps. Do not use them.

I'm afraid I have missed these somehow when ordering my samples tester :(
I think a weight in between jades and navies would be ideal to me, but with the same tactility... Anyone got a couple extras I could try (paying for the switches and posting of course, preferably within EU)?

I finally got these into the 60% hotswap board I got from Amazon.  I'm actually quite pleased so far.  I was worried they still might be too stiff/heavy for my preferences, but they're just right on the edge of being too much.  I do like that there is a slight increase in force after the click to reduce the tendency to bottom out hard.  The only thing that's affecting my experience negatively is the bad spacebar rattling on this board, but that's not a fault of the switches.  I can't even hear the spacebar click over the rattle.  Like others have mentioned, the upstroke click is quieter and the click quieter overall than the whites and pale blues, and by default, the thick clicks.  I personally find the thick clicks to sound too sharp and raucous, so the Pinks are right up my alley.  I do think that the subdued upstroke click also helps it to avoid becoming sonically disorienting during fast typing.  That's the problem I had with my Novatouch, the loud up-clack would throw off my focus.

I tried it with some OEM profile generic thick-PBT keycaps (YMDK) and the doubleshot keycaps from my Leopold FC660M.  I found the click sound to be just a bit more satisfying on the taller profile keycaps.  With the Leopold keycaps, I had to remove the rubber O-rings I used with the Cherry MX Blues to create an acceptable level of travel.  Because of the spring "cushion" of the Pinks, I didn't really feel the need to use O-rings anyways.  This after-click cushion sensation make it an excellent choice for lighter touch-typists who want to avoid bottoming out but find stuff like the MX Clear to be too heavy (like I did).
