Hey there!
I've been consumed by the thought of a perfect mechanical keyboard these past few days, completely ignoring the studying I've yet to do for my 4 exams next week. Things are dire, I might add, but I'm definitely obsessed.
I had some mechanical keyboard knowledge before, such as the different Cherry MX Switches, but I never knew there were clones, nor even Topre switches!
I've used mechanical keyboards almost exclusively for almost a decade now, but only from Logitech or Razers. I stumbled upon TheWirecutter's page about Mechanical Keyboard about 2 weeks ago and since then, I've been researching non-stop.
I'd love to try my hand at hand-wired keyboards, but first I'm waiting for some Switch testers to arrive. So, in the meantime, I've been considering going for a hotswap keyboard like the CTRL, Kira or GMMK, or even going all-in with some Topre keyboards (since it's not easy to do some DIY Topre anyways).
Anyways, I'd love to see where my journey takes me.
