For the colors I went with all RAL, and tried to keep it within the Plastics series.
As the plastics series is limited, I also ventured into the design series, but it won't pose a problem during the color matching process.

Love it. I'm sure plenty of discussion of kit design will follow, but this guy would be happy to have numpad and bars be combined.

Could we see a comparison between Firefly base and nautilus base blue? I think Firefly's a step darker?

Love the colorway. Altogether looks really nice. Can I ask the philosophy behind choosing which keys are "accented" with the purple text? I would have thought those were typically more Esc, Enter, Backspace, etc. I've never seen Tab chosen to be an accented key or only alt/code in the bottom right.

Just a thought: Alternating blue and purple text might look nice for F-row.

A lot of questions regarding novelties, 40s, icon kits etc -
This is all within the realm of possibilities (novelties least likely, as I am not a fan of them). I am also considering a NorDeUK kit if there's enough interest.

I started small with just two kits with the base necesseties, since I wasn't sure of the reception. It could've been a flop and have barely any interest, so I didn't bother constructing more kits.
SO - if you want specific kits to be made, please voice it here in the thread, I am listening and open to your feedback!

The philosophy behind it is to accentuate keys without being "in your face" about it. It is a subtle change in hue, all the while adding character and charm to the set.
The reasoning behind these specific keys might seem random, but in my head it isn't (not so sure if others agree yet). Basically, I want to accent locations that will always be in use, while keeping some form of structure, all the while straying away from the "standard" positions - it left me with the two keys right of space as well as tab and caps. These positions have a nice asymmetrical symmetry, if that makes any sense.

It would be great to have a novelties kit with the firefly theme, since it's all kind of summer-y feeling. If there is more accents using that peach, light blue and purple colors, I would totally buy it

as well. Great looking set overall.

1800 compat (R1 Del, End, PgDn) should be moved to the numpad kit, extended 65% compat (R3 PgUp, R4 PgDn) should be added to the base. Alternate color options for `~ and 1.5u \| would be nice, but I get if that doesn't fit in with your vision for the colorway.

I agree, I think it'd be better if the spacebars were included in the base kit. It's already pretty sparse, and there are keys that need to be moved from it to the numpad kit anyway (the 1800 compat I previously mentioned).

noted your philosophy on the design, but i suspect it would also look really nice if all the mods had blue font and the purple was saved for more traditional accents (i.e. purple esc & enter keys)!

As for novelties and artisans, I likely won't be adding any - sorry! I am personally not a fan, and by GMK Nines I learned that I can't deliver on something I have no interest in. It wouldn't turn out good.

NorDeUK, 40s and other kits are still a possibility down the line! If you want these, please voice it here (No google form for feedback as many entries are not serious, and many do not take time to fill it out properly).

I bet this colorway will look really nice in photos. Too bad about the novelties, I like fireflies and having a set with something with a summer nostalgia theme, like the bugs themselves or cute little lanterns or something would be a nice touch.

TIL there are fireflies that emit this sort of color. I've only ever seen (tons of) the ones that emit that kinda high-vis yellow/green light (which reminds me of the legends on GMK Night Runner). Neat!!!

I just realized that R1 Del should be kept in the base kit for 65% compat, so keep that in mind. But the order two keys are still useless without a numpad.
