Hi there, have you considered lowering the tiers for future group buys depending on how many ordered?

Hi there, have you considered lowering the tiers for future group buys depending on how many ordered?

i have considered it, however the next gb will again be a fixed cost, however the cost will be lower if we decide to only go with 1 profile, right now i am deciding between going with dcs, or dcs + dca and offering ergodox kits etc

this gb has been a pleasure to run, and i think a large part of that has been down to simple fixed costs

I am so super excited about the next GB and that Miami is in production. The next GB colours are looking like a potential work board, crazy enough colours for my tastes but subtle enough so visiting clients aren't distracted by my keyboard  :p

I am so glad I held onto my white Leopold for Miami, the set is going to look amazing on white/off-white.

Which Leopold do you have? The FC700R? If so you'll have to keep the white spacebar instead of the teal/pink one.

Thankfully not the 700, it is the FC200, so while it does have a silly spacebar it works with the SP universal spacebar (which I assume this set has? Bunny?).

Yeah, every SP group buy has the universal spacebar as standard.

Not sure if like having 2 group buys so close together like that, my wallet has to recharge. oh well.

For the nexgt GB, If there is anyway you could get a edox blanks quote from SP on your next GB, you would be a hero to the eDoxers who want caps, though i understand why you wouldn't do that given your GB model; it may not reach enough....

Just a quote would be cool though maybe for a separate run by someone else fro just the edox kit

i am 95% sure i will offer this in dsa as well as dcs, assuming that goes ahead, i will be offering an ergodox kit in the dsa flavor for you guys, i udnerstand the buys get close together, but my plan is to run a buy period in the downtime waiting on a set to get produced, then close it when miami gets back for sorting, and have this in production whilst i am doing that

A DSA Ergodox kit would work, the DSA modifiers actually mix fine with a DCS base set

here is an example of a mix

- DCS Base with legends
- 10 x 1u Row 4 (bottom row) DCS Blanks
- 12 x 1.5u DSA Blanks
- 8 x 1u DSA Blanks
- 4 x 2u DSA Blanks

or this mix (cheaper option)

- DCS Base with legends
- 12 x 1.5u DSA Blanks
- 18 x 1u DSA Blanks
- 4 x 2u DSA Blanks

Patience, child.  They will be with us soon enough.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

well dont quote me, i was told 4 - 5 weeks for production, its been in production for a week, and i will do my best to turn it around as fast as possible, so 6 weeks from now is a rough guess, it may be slightly ambitious buts it gives me something to aim for

These look really nice. Would be pretty sweet for playing Hotline Miami with. Just need a chicken mask Esc key!

Knowing Bunny, he probably ordered a few extras and already factored in having spare sets.
