Sorry if this has already been answered. When the gh60s are all shipped out, are there any plans to mass produce/sell them?
No plans to mass produce them.  However some vendors like feng and qtan bought a ton of PCB's, so you will be able to get one.

Yep I believe MechanicalKeyboards.com will be selling them alongside the Phantom and ErgoDox PCB's.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Now, all you'd need is the actual pcb, which in theory should be easier than the plate.

Also, why is this listed as in production when it is still in QA stage?

Because they are producing prototypes maybe?
They've been producing prototypes even before this group buy started, so that's not a valid reason.

Supply and demand, doubt the amount of ISO HHKB plate exceeds 50 and most intend to keep theirs.

I'm afraid nothing will move with this until WFD returns.

Unless komar wants to move forward with PCB manufacturing without prototype testing. I could take over the plate and stabilizer stuff if needed.

I really wouldn't like to move forward without the prototypes. I'm just wondering what's happened.

Unfortunately, that doesn't help our situation much. What we really need is a volunteer to show up at WFD's residence and get the prototypes from him and ship them out. Barring that, I'm not really sure how we proceed.

komar, if you want, we could sell some prototype opportunities to fund the manufacture of more prototype boards, which you could ship to me for distribution.

TJ, are you watching this thread? Do you know if WFD has had plates made already, as in you sent the money for them somewhere?

I would be in for a prototype too if you don't need a 100% guarantee that I will manage to solder it properly!

I have switches, a cable, soldering stuff, no experience and balls!  :p

I have no case to test it with, but I could at least make sure I can solder switches and plug it in! A poker plate would help too else I will need to work on desoldering skill a lot after!

So all in all, I would like a prototype if you need a number to finance them, but I am not the best candidate to really test it!

I have some money, but not exactly sure what I can do.  Sell me a prototype?

I'd ordered three PCBs, and since then I've been collecting the switches, cases, etc. I'd need to assemble them.  Now what?

I would rather they get it right the before they send out 100+ PCB's.

I've worked in QA for hardware and software before and it is a long process but worth it when the results are 110%.

Thanks for all the hard work you are all putting into this GB. Much different than a set of keycaps.
