Work got the better of me the last two days, so I was unable to get any more invoices out. However, for those that paid the invoices that did get sent out, I shipping your packages on Friday. You should get them on Tuesday and already have your tracking numbers.

Status:
   14% = Invoiced
   12% = Paid
   12% = Shipped

More invoices will be going out today with more packages shipping either today, or Monday and I'll continue to update as I go and thank everyone again for their patience with my first group buy fulfillment.

OK, I've run out of a couple of packing materials, so I'll be going to pick that up now, but I've done all the final packaging I can do for today.  :-[

However, I am proud to say that 40% of the orders have been invoiced and are packaged and ready to ship. Once I receive your payment for shipping, I'll print the label and drop it off at the Post Office. Thank you to everyone who sent in their payment so quickly today. I'll be dropping off your packages today at the main Post Office here in Nashville.

Status

I'll pick it back up tomorrow afternoon and I should be able to finish all the US orders. The remaining US Orders account for 22%, so once those are done, we'll be 62% complete.

@lewi: mashby will ship the US orders first, then move to International orders later, so please wait for a few more days to get the shipping invoice.

Yes. My wife had other plans for me yesterday, so I didn't make it into the office to wrap up the US orders. I did make it to the Office Depot to pickup more packing material though, so I'm boxing up and sending out invoices today.

Also, an update for everyone that paid yesterday. I've processed your shipping label and you should have received your tracking number. Today is a holiday for the USPS, so I won't be able to drop off the packages until tomorrow.

One backspace broken......these keys are tighter than a dolphins butthole. I even put Krytox on the stem so in theory it would release easier.

 Did the keycap break in shipping, or was it from installing it on your keyboard?

I did a test and put the backspace on to test one key with a stabilizer before doing the entire board, and when I went to pull the key off it pulled the entire stem and upper switch housing with it. On the MX white there is a little tab on the left and right side of the stem that keeps it from exiting the housing, one of them broke. I had 3 spare MX Whites, now I'm down to two and I'm testing the other keys on a non soldered MX Black first.

I tested vintage black and the keys are not too tight on it, MX Whites are pretty tight, and MX Clear is like a death grip. People should be cautious with the switch type they use these on. I'll probably put them on my Phantom in Camo case and never remove them.

I had that happen to me three times while putting on and taking off R4 SPH set on MX whites.

Oh that's what I would like to have, a Phantom inside the Camou case. Share some pics please!

It's sad to hear that. I did try those SA caps on MX Blue and vintage Black ones and found out it's not very tight so it's really unexpected that the MX White and Clear ones got problem with them. :(

I'm rocking commando on mx whites, they are a bit tight, but I don't feel like its gonna break the stems. They make the whites sound nicer than dcs too.

The non matte shifts, caps, and return threw me off a bit but I don't really mind.

Just out of curiosity, was this the most complete finish available?

Yes that's the most complete matte finish I can get for the set, unfortunately SP does not have mold for matte finish of some keys, just semi-matte.

It's interesting to see how you use the arrows keys ^^

Thank you to everyone that is posting about receiving their order and confirming that everything arrived safe-and-sound. I can't tell you how much that means to me.

Yesterday I dropped off a ton of packages at the main post office here in Nashville and it looks like they should all be delivered on Friday.

Also, I began invoicing the International orders and those that have paid should go out in the mail today. Thank you to everyone for the fast payments and I'll be printing your shipping labels later today and you'll have your tracking shortly thereafter.

Thanks Tym for the comment and thank you Irisviel for your patience.

More international invoices will be going out this afternoon after I process the ones that have paid. It's my first time with International shipping, so I want to make sure I do it correctly before I batch out the rest.

I've been grouping them by country so that it's easier to estimate shipping costs as I go. The batch for your county should be going out late this afternoon.

Mashby can we expect a comprehensive write up once your all done with this, containing your thoughts on what its like being a proxy and if you'll do it ever again??

I probably will, but I don't know how helpful it'll be. There are people way more automated and dialed in on this process than me. My guess is that I did it the slowest and most tedious method possible. LOL!  :p

It's sad to hear that. I did try those SA caps on MX Blue and vintage Black ones and found out it's not very tight so it's really unexpected that the MX White and Clear ones got problem with them. :(

I keep hearing how some people getting their SP keycaps for their beloved keyboards and breaking their caps putting them in or taking them out.  All I know I have heaps of DSA's, DCS's and some SA's and they all go into Filco's with Red, Blue, Black and Brown switches so effortlessly.

The LH-GZ I have has all Ergo-clears and they will accept all these profiled key-caps despite it being tight somewhat (good one Cherry Corp)  >:D .  Not SP's fault because if their caps all fit the other coloured switches comfortably why would you blame them for not fitting easily onto Clears/Whites?

For myself, I just lube the caps (very pornographically) that need to go into the LZ-GH and they work  :thumb: .
