Alright I just checked.  There is actually a profile difference, but its much more noticeable on my QFR with white modifiers, most notably on shift keys and the caps lock(about 2mm at the bottom of the shift keys).  I don't know how much ill be using that QFR anyways, but the raindrop alpha keys has next to no difference, definitely not enough for me to stress over.

Profile mismatches bother me to no end. I have an alpha set of PBT caps which were taller than my Filco OEM Caps. I sold them within the week of receiving them :(.

Fantastic!

But ... you don't like green?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I modded my poker from stock blacks to 55g lubed and stickered blacks. It's almost dead silent when typing!

I noticed some of the leaf springs were a bit different

And finally typing on it. I've been typing on stock blacks, which are just way to heavy for me, so glad I too the time to mod them!

Sweet.

As much as I like yellow and orange, I have to admit that the RWB one does look nicer :)

Man all these purple keys are increasing my affinity to purple.

I wasn't a real fan of purple, mostly joined the GB because I was looking for comprehensive modifier sets.  But now that I've seen them in person, I find myself putting them on every board I use for any length of time.

Ironically, I can't say the same about the white-on-black Cherry double-shots included in the package deal.  I do like them, but only on some boards.  My absolute favorite set of stock key caps is a moderately vintage set of black-on-white Cherry keys that came stock on a eBay.de G80-1501HAD.  They're gorgeous; many of them worn smooth, like ivory keys on a piano, and just amazing to type on.  The only reason I don't use them everywhere is that they're German layout.

What caps are those Photoelectric? The font is throwing me off. And that's the first board where I saw the nyan cap set and liked it. Great job.

That's what I thought too but I didn't realize Vortex has a WYSE colorway set.

Thank you :)  It's Vortex dye sub thick PBT from Feng's GB (got it from a kind GH member here along with the surprise pedobear, heh), and it did come in "WYSE" coloring.  It feels great: Cherry profile and powdery.  But it does have that italicized font.

You should try the grey modifiers on that WYSE set with the purple Alphas from the same GB. They look pretty awesome together.

I just have that one set.  Blue would be cool to go with the upcoming cover, but no one's been selling any of the colored sets that I've seen.

The combo of zinc caps and these with some black translucent looks real good on the acrylic case. Just waiting for the PCB to arrive and I promise to assemble it that night itself, the wait has been quite long and enduring, the longer I wait the thinner my wallet gets.
