I did finish the game, and it was great.
But as a Portal 1 player, I don't think it's... best game in the world.
I mean, portal 1 was first distributed FREE as like a mini game. And I thought that was reasonable for free, since it was quite short and it's a puzzle game.
Meaning, even though there's a multiplay, there would be lack of reaplayability, since you will remember it all after you do it, and you will be able to solve it in seconds.
And that's what happened to me in the 2nd playthrough of Portal 2. I don't really play games 2nd play through, but I just like Valve style of FPS.
But then again, I finished portal 2 in less than 3 hours. Not saying it's like bad of being short (I enjoyed playing), it's just.. it's a puzzle game without randomization or more hidden things.
The map's quite linear, meaning like portal 1, they give you 2 options for shooting, specifically place where you can solve the puzzles. So there's really 1 or 2 options of solving the puzzle.
There's no like versatile or optional coversations hidden a lot, or many characters to talk to if compared to other mini click puzzle games like Monkey Island.
But I enjoyed the game, and I think that's what matters I guess. Besides I am a big fan of Valve, and hope they keep making games like these.
And of course... finish the HL story..!! (they really didn't care about HL since L4D...)
You know what I'm saying
Personally, I think $60 is overprice for a game like this. Just saying
