Ty and I received the 3 plastic color samples from GMK last week, and we've gone ahead and officially approved them. GMK used their new color-matching tech wherein the colors are measured by GMK for accuracy to the color references before being sent out. On our end, our biggest priority was ensuring that the samples look like the renders so that everyone gets the keycaps in the colors that we essentially promised y'all!
We're happy with how they turned out. These are just photos I took with my iPhone in a few different light settings. IMO, the colors are slightly more saturated in person, but I wanted to share the pics unedited.
The 4th color in the set, the pastel pink used for a few small details in the novelties, is UV print only, and therefore will only start to be sampled by GMK now that we've approved the plastic colors.
In non-keycap news, deskmat samples were approved as of a few months ago and are currently in production!
At some point I will get around to taking photos of the Orange Boi samples next to a few GMK stock colors so you can see the differences/subtleties, etc.
