I'm in for a set of alphas and mods for my yet-to-be-ordered Poker II! (If we hit the 50 person breakpoint for the mods, but that should be no problem)
Bloo wasn't my favorite color scheme but I just can't let the opportunity pass  ;D

Now if there will be an escape key for 60% boards that would be really nice, but I think I could also somehow live without it.
I hope that an SA profile looks nice on such a small board  :)

any chance for geekhack key being included? or other novelty design?
this might add to the desirability of the set and bring more people in.

Yeah, I made my decision. Getting a custom legend done was more than I was looking to do for my first GB. If I'm missing out on some people joining up, well, oh well. Maybe if there's enough of a call I'll do a round 2 and do some fun stuff. It's just too late in the game now to go modifying 42 orders, and getting a quote for a custom legend.

Oh, yeah, Row 2 esc key is coming. Soon as I head back from Melissa, I'll have the price updated. And with your order that brings us to 47 for the Modifier set. Even if we didn't hit it at this point, the 3 sets I plan to purchase for future charity auctions would put us over 50.

Maybe I'll include ErgoDox in the three charity sets. It'll add a couple dollars to each order, but would help us hit 25, and make the charity sets significantly more desirable.

6u spacebar is the primary problem, from what I see otherwise alpha+mod+tsangan+iso has you covered.

Not really. Several of the symbols are on different keys. I think he's sad about the legends.

Dunno if I got this right but no GH key with this set? :(

Technically, we could get everyone who is buying an ErgoDox kit to double their order for it. Then they'd be getting 2 and be paying about $10 more.

This.  If it came to that, I'd be willing to pony up the few extra bucks.

The same could also be said about the NumPad, Tsangan, and ISO sets.  The difference in price between 10 MOQ and 25 MOQ is *huge*.

Why are the base and mod sets at different tiers?

Don't they go hand in hand? (this might be a newb question.)

Nope, someone might want the alpha but not the mods, eg ErgoDox users. Or just any one and mix and match with some other set.

I should have realized that. It makes sense for use with the ergodox.

It is very different with respect to the legends, otherwise we use standard ISO layout.

In for Ergo, Gamer and Alphas.

Also posted links on Massdrop discussions for last Ergo buy and current DCS PBT cap drop, let's hope we can get to 25 on Ergodox.

What rows does the ErgoDox set use (particularly for the thumb clusters)? Is everything just row 3?

All row 3 to match the alphas. Didn't want to go mixing rows on you.

Updating OP to match the numbers.

Instead of saying, "we are here" could you post order counts please? So that we know whether a set is at 51/75 or 74/75.

Please :)

I guess that's why I'm confused, I already did that when I updated them this time. That's the little number afterwards.

You can't.

That's not quite true -- technically, if you ordered an ergodox kit and ten gamer sets (or five if you don't mind mixed color), you could cover the alphanumerics in (deep-dish R3) blanks.  Maybe you could use some of the bottom-row keys from the ergodox set to have non-deep-dish f and j keys, to still have them feel different from the rest.

That might actually look really cool, and is actually somewhat tempting now that I think about it :blank:

Hmmm having all R3 would kinda defeat the purpose of getting an SA set though, still having all deep dish is tempting.

All of the alphas are already R3 in this GB! You'd only be losing the sculpting on the number row.

(I actually think a fully-R3 set would be kind of neat, like a better DSA).

Your right, I didn't really look at the second post well enough so I didn't notice they were all R3. Still getting a set though :)

In answer to the coming profile questions, we are doing this GB in the same profile summary as the Commando GB.
They had a good solution to the problems inherent with using SA profile caps, and we're taking their lead on it.

So, if I might borrow from their thread, here's a breakdown of how key profiles will look.

These are the profiles for SA from Signature Plastics

Here is how we are arranging these profiles on the keyboard:

And here's an example of how it'll look on a keyboard:

I do not own these images, and I thank from the bottom of my heart who ever thought to make them.

I might need your help mailing some of them out to this side of the world. If I send it through military channels, it would cost just as much as mailing from the US, and take twice as long.
