Ergodox print to check out if my thumbs are ok for it
« on: Thu, 18 February 2016, 03:22:23 »
Hello
Is there a
Ergodox print to check out if my thumbs are ok for it??
Would prefer it in A4 if not A3. Just want to make sure my hands are big enough :thumb:

If we were to come up with a library of such files (preferably pdfs?), what would be the best way to go about it?

I think it would be handy to have a bunch of files covering the most popular (and available) ergo boards.

Actually, dxf files would be better since users can modify them more easily than pdf. And they are also suitable as a design files (e.g. to derive CAD models from them for 3dPrinting or laser cutting). Not sure what programs are best for dxf on windows. On linux, qcad works very well. Linux version of qcad is free. I do not know about windows version.

Yep.

Here is a two-page PDF I made a few years ago from litster's CAD files. Should be A4 format: if you have a US printer then make sure that your settings are set to crop and not to scale the file before printing.

I already printed it out (from above the link :thumb:)

Thanks anyway.
Now I only have to deal with the questions
Which layout
Which layers
      Going to be fun ;D
