Is anyone finding the rigidity of the steel plate + dense metal tray case to be uncomfortable? Here's how I've added some dampening to mine, and it's helping slightly:
Thin silicone o-rings! Place over the stand-offs:
Insert the PCB/plate diagonally into the case, mini USB socket into the hole first, then lower the PCB onto the standoffs. Add bolts. Here you can see an o-ring peeking out
Still sounds a bit metallic along the edges, but I'll be looking into other dampening methods in addition to the o-rings--perhaps something to go between the PCB and the plate around the perimeter.
