they are really too small... I don't know, the risk of ending up with 3 ****ty keys is high... what do you think?

You'd need to not use the white stroke portion for the keys. I'll pm you the images standalone so you can try them. The stroke is good for emphasis, but drowns out the detail.

A simple check for clarity would be to print them out actual size. If a household printer can produce the images clearly, I'd certainly hope sp is capable of delivering at least equal quality. Either way, I'm pleased with the images, "BFG" style, or wording like you have had from the start. Hope this GB can start soon.

the images are not printed but double-shot!

that's why the image must be very simple

And the image should be single color, to be molded with one color of plastic on the color base of the key.

I think we all are, but SP is kind of slow this time of year being that it's still technically the holiday-period in the United States.  Just need to have patience when everything goes back to normal business hours.

Matt3o is again making something unique here that should stand up high against his early effort the "DSA Retro Set" last year.  Nice one  :thumb: .

I've added a "boring joe" set and merged the two black sets.

Later today I'll work on the 3 mode keys.

Enter key suffers a lot of wear. It may be worth to include a second one as spare part. What do you think?

It has all the looks of a Japanese Cartoon shown on Saturday mornings.  Not bad if you're into futuristic robots, vehicles and creatures (only guessing here).

I just mentioned this in your midnight set as well but;

Can I suggest adding 4 additional caps for people with separate numpads?

Like an Esc-row;
Esc, Tab, Backspace, and a random key with the logo of the set.
Even blanks is fine.

Such as in Goldtouch or Leopold.

Matt, this set concept as well as the BoB PBT with sublimated legends are awesome. Very likely some of the best out there. This because of the colors, and profile, and the other because of the material. I hope both begin soon. Well not that soon just to allow my wallet to get warmed  :-[ .

Just double checking: Macross will be ABS w/ DS legends and the BoB will be PBT w/ sublimated ones, both in DSA profile, right?

I hope these two group buy do well. Both sets will be unique and they will cover most of the common layout options for cherry based boards.

Matt: Could you consider to add to the BoB a second 2.25x shift key? Sorry if this comment is out of place, and that it should be moved to the corresponding thread. I do not want to cause any confusion.

And also I wonder if the two 1x keys in the ISO set should be labeled with the appropriate UK legends. I know other languages are different, but I think ISO users may benefit of having some references in these two keys. Also the backslash key will fit most of ISO based languages.
