I understand that u always wanna bring something different to people. but what about change the legends back to normal? since the inverse beige color is already "something different". and I'm pretty sure that lots of people are interested in the color, but not the legends.

The main set may be splited in modifiers and alphas, and the modifier set broken down into smaller subsets so prices may be reduced.

With GMK, that never works, because then all the orders get segregated and non of the sets meet MOQ. Having one big pack has had the best luck of meeting MOQ.

Hell I traded a couple of GMK spacebars and some winkeyless mods for a Mint Gum clack earlier this year

Spacebars are cool, I wasn't around for the first GB but I managed to get all the crazy colored spacebars. A crazy colored spacebar makes the keyboard way cooler.

May I ask what makes GMK spacebars so special?

If you have old original Cherry sets from G80/G81, the 6.25 spacebar has off center switch mount which is unusable on most other boards... the GMK made ones don't have that problem so are compatible with pretty much everything but Leopold. Plus, fun colors.

That's such a nice set, but it will/would be a long way until we reach the MOQ. What about extending until June 2015 for example?

I don't like to drag things out. If something isn't going to make it in a reasonable time frame, odds are it never will. If it's close to MOQ I would probably make a short extension, but it all depends.

How close to MOQ do you want it to be by the deadline? Also if the main sets don't hit MOQ I will probably just order more spacebars will you allow people to edit orders for a day or two before invoicing?

I'll pick up a load more spacebars if the mods don't make the MOQ. To answer Geroximo, they're special because there aren't any others like them. DCS spacebars are horribly sharp, Cherry originals aren't compatible with most modern boards, OEM, DSA and SA are the wrong heights/shapes etc. I'm using DSA at the moment because it's the best I have, still kicking myself for not getting a ton of GMK spacebars last time I had the chance.

Yeah, if I knew this mod pack would match my vintage cherry sets perfectly (colorwise), I'd order three of them...

For those that want to know if it will match old sets... post clear well lit picture with proper color calibration and I will tell you. Even still, at the worst case you will have a different tone on the nav and function row section... which will look like on purpose and is still fine in my opinion.

As we discussed before, just replace ALL the beige mods, problem solved, no matching needed.

Right, that is why numpad keys were also include so you can replace and end up with something uniform looking even if the other set is not 100% color match... for instance:

The Full set has everything you would need to fit 101/102 key 1800 (6 blank key for above numpad). Mods pack also would fit for 1800, but would have to use blank key for numpad + - key.

This would have been my first GMK set but it won't be anymore since people aren't jumping on it as fast as they should.

Sorry no, paypal charge too much penalty for currency conversion. I already get hit hard enough with my bank when I have to send payment to GMK in euro (which is what part of groupbuy fee is for, to buffer against currency conversion loss)... if only I could transfer euro from paypal to my US bank... sadly it's not allowed.

I realize that blank is not always most ideal, but when it comes to boards that are 'minority' cases I feel it's better to have blanks that have versatility for many other use instead. Add too many keys for specific non standard models and price goes up up up up.

You can go and buy any Cherry MY board with black on white alphas and then make a full set.

Yes, mods pack adapt old set to new boards... almost any board even odd ones like Filco minila, Pure Pro...etc, etc, etc. that has been basically impossible before. Or you could buy it with the full set on offer here to make a mostly monocolor board...

It's very important because too many sets (classic ones such as BSP's beige sets) are missing the proper keys for many layouts. With the mod pack, you're set to do whatever layout you want.

I really wish this would happen. Is there an possibility we could open it up to other forums? GH/Reddit/DT/KBD, GH alone has trouble hitting GMK MOQs.

Also, if the main pack doesnt tip, I'd like a 2nd mod set in place. I think EVERYONE should do the same so we can get that thing made...
