What is considered cheap for a 356DGE?
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

You have to do some dirty dirty things...or be Korean.

Even with the latter you still have to do some dirty dirty things.

Oh my, lovely shot, HPE1000! Straight lines, nothing crooked, perfect! Some people would use that as an everyday wallpaper! And i loved Bro Caps picture since it was posted in the post your korean keyboard thread. The caps are just a great match!

I made some pictures of my Night Owl MKII i won recently in the Halloween sale, and got this rather artsy image. It is not as i like it yet - the Clack should be a monument beside the plebs, but i am too lazy for now.

Going to sell one of my SSKs, and had to make some pictures! inb4 learn to white-balance :) I am often too lazy in the end to make everything perfect, but that is also because i can be easily satisfied. I love that creamy touch, with nice gradients which can be colored, and not balanced white or edited correctly.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Not at the moment. They're orange alps with Tai Hao black stems, so they're a little higher profile and feel lighter. The only problem with the paint is that it never seems to dry :))

These are tactile, but the bump is so large and the switches themselves are for some reason so loud it seems pretty close to clicky. And I have so many clicky boards already I figured I needed to give tactile some love :p
I got tired of imgur being sucky, but then again I also had to make a yahoo account to use flickr, which I guess is the only way they're getting people to make those anymore...

I love SSK pics... :)

You know, there is one picture which is still missing from your secret indy space saver :)

Beautiful as always! How did you achieve that white background?

That is a white photo wall or paper in a small studio we have at work. It is a very easy setup, with two flashes, one left and one right, both with about half of the power they have. But normally i do not like these clean studio pictures, and therefor i don't do much there - even if i could! The best thing about is that you have nice pictures in minutes without having to edit afterwards heavily. But 'natural' shoots on desktops are much better.

I don't even like SSKs, but these pictures might change my mind ^-^

Oho, SSKs are g-r-e-a-t!

Probably should do some post but it's pretty damn sharp and easy to handle. So I'm really pleased.

Nice! What lens?
It's a Minolta 100mm f/4 MD Macro. Roughly $200 on eBay but I got it for $50.  ;D

That's probably the clearest shot I've seen of the black on black legend of this keycap.

Even my similar GH keycap irl is not as clear as that picture!

Thanks!
IRL it is hardly visible. I could probably do better than this by placing my lights in a different way or by diffusing it even more.

I should do a piece by piece shot of each of the GH eXtravaganza keys.

Jep. Thanks. :)
