That SSQV is my most favorite BOV of all time. <3

This is my first hks. Had forge, tial, synapses , blitz. Hope it won't disappoint me

Can't go wrong with that BOV.  Ran one on my Evo right up until I sold it.  Never any issues whereas I had problems with both Forge and Synapse.  Synapse was terrible...

AWWW YESSSS

so pretty D:

your spacebar is wrong

pffffffffffffffffff. Wrong has never felt so good ~

I geniously flipped my spacebar around like that to see what all the fuss was about.  Now I can't go back.

FTFY. Did the same thing and now I can't go back, reversed means it rests under my thumb perfectly.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

We can't all be as perfect as you demik.  There have to be some flawed people in this world or else it would be a boring place.

Now why don't you go for a bike ride ;)

I thought the friendly neighborhood cops watched you whenever you went for a bike ride.  You should be safe, just avoid the pier.

And you must be a slow cyclist if you're worried about getting beat up and robbed.

Haha yes, first this: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=39776.0

And now this: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=48489.0
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Nice! But I'm worried they wouldn't feel so good on blues bc it would absorb a lot of the tactility... I would think they would ideally feel best on linear switches. How's it feel on blues??

Nice! But I'm worried they wouldn't feel so good on blues bc it would absorb a lot of the tactility... I would think they would ideally feel best on linear switches. How's it feel on blues??

I actually am debating with myself if I like them more than regular key caps. The tactility is somewhat dampened because of the weight of the key, but the added weight feels good and makes the typing a bit more effortless. The sound is also quite interesting and fun; gone is the higher pitched click, and it is replaced with a more muffled click, followed by the thud of the zinc cap hitting the Das' metal plate.

Normal sound of the default Das keys: Listen (probably easier to right click and save as)

Me typing on the zinc keys: Listen (probably easier to right click and save as)

You can hear the space bar during the zinc typing as a bit of a reference for immediate comparison between the sounds.

Either way though, these are super fun to type on.

Dood! Thank you for the audio samples :thumb: I actually really like how it sounds with the zinc caps!!! The thud sounds more pleasant than the lighter click that the Das produces. What I've come to learn with having tested many different brand blues is that they all sound different. Some more similar to each other than others. My personal favorite is Ducky blues, but now I'm just going off tangent. I definitely love the way the zinc caps sound on there, and I'm interested to know how it feels. I guess ultimately though, it all comes down to which one feels best for you. If they're super fun, then you've already won :D Congrats! Worst case, at least they look absolutely stunning :P

Thus I went for 80g springs on my blues when using zinc caps.

Zinc caps would definitely shine on MX Greens! Pun intended :D
