I have not seen anyone actually offering it as a service on the site.
Most people find a local guy they go to for that.
I think it would be awesome if I could just send stuff to a dedicated guy.
I would of asked for for feng's fmj case with no anodization and had someone else do it in kmac titanium.

Needless to say, the IBM Model F restoration has gone wonderfully and I wouldn't know what I would do without this site. The restoration has been very in-depth and I feel blessed having found fohat.digs to offer his services for me.

Cheers for Harry.

I will pm bpiphany and fohat.digs and inquire if they would like to be listed here.

I was not implying he should be put here, but I'll be damned if he isn't professional and does exceptional work.

Definitely, I was just posting my pleasant experience.

Oh, and for the moderators:

I would like to offer my services here to the fine members at geekhack: I am a professional writer and editor. I can write anything from technical to something as far reaching as descriptive writing for a website.

Thanks!

I'd like to put myself down for LED modding. I'm mainly going for the Poker II guys here, but I'll happily mod any other keyboards that support LEDs.

I'm talking designs and multi-color stuff like this (but I'll do single color for the boring people too  :p )

Yes I do. Pretty much any color and combination you'd like (except 'warm white', as photoelectric just pointed out to me lol).

Haha, well, you can get warm white off eBay in round varieties, as well as amber :)  WFD has a good video on modding the bottoms of LED casing to avoid any conflict with low profile keycaps.

That happened a while back...a victim of my first desoldering project. A mistake that probably couldn't be repeated if I tried  ;) . That thread you linked shows how I recovered it.

You mean Amazon US or UK or the country with the rain forrest? Probably best to make a new thread for it :)
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

Forgot to specify it, but yeah... Amazon.com (US). The_Ed is the only US proxy listed and he hasn't been online for a while.

I'm not quite as good as Photoelectric is, but I'm planning to offer that service as well, assuming I can get a proper work area set up.
