I would like this set for my girlfriend but she uses portuguese iso layout.
Are the ISO kits just to "cover" the missing/different keys in the US layout?
If there was an option for specific country keys, would it be very expensive?

Yes, the ISO set only covers the missing caps and is not intended to replace the language specific alphas. That would cost a fortune because new molds for the keys would have to be made. It's a simple supply and demand thing.

I don't mind that because I buy the sets for the looks. I don't look at my keyboard while typing anyway, so it doesn't matter for me ;)

Those grey mods are a nice touch. For those of us who already own it but don't have enough pink keycaps in our lives The RoG mods on Klaxon look incredible so I think this is a good move. I'll probably scoop just those if they come to the GB.

and why are you so against on putting the round 1 legend as an option?
just add it as another kit, like what you would do for an iso kit, let the community decide its price, please don't limit our choices.

I hope this is NOT how he does the ISO kit. This way it will cost ISO users ~25$ to get those keys. If they are put into the modifier set it might be a little bit more expensive, but this is evened out by the fact that the price for the base set, etc. goes down thanks to the participation of ISO users.

I think it's a fair trade off and hope it will be done like in the Commando 23 GB.

I guess it's all personal preference, but I prefer the Round 3 style, where everything is centered, over the Dolch look. Anyway, you might want to take a look at the Delete, Insert group though because you have a mix of centered and left justified legends in that one grouping. Additionally, if you do the white and grey sets everything is centered except the number row, which looks weird to me, or at least inconsistent.

1.25 is the most common, but when doing an IC check for mac keys last month, there was a lot of interest in 1x and 1.5x as well. SP has the legends, so there shouldn't be any additional costs beyond adding the keys to the set. In an ideal world, having both would be great.

And you can have a look at the Insert, Del... group of the Dolch replica round 1 set pic that I posted. The legends are left aligned. Just the Home and End text are short so more clear, the others are long text so the characters spread wider so it does not look like it's left aligned, the first character still begins at the furthest on the left of the key. And of course my mockups are not perfect to show the real legend SP using so sorry about it.

Yes I made a few changes and now I'm quite satisfied with these:

So basically the White base & the Pink mods have the same color as how they was in Round 1 of Valentine set.
The White base has the font alignment changed to centered in order to be a bit different to its predecessor and make both sets be unique in its own way ^o^
The Pink mods is almost the same, only with some small editings and extras. The Prt Sc & Pause keys will have front pad-printing legends for a completed looking.

The Grey mods is a whole new kit giving the elegent looking for the set, with simple text legends and symbols.



If you see any important key is still missing, please let me know.

Would it be possible to not keep the House with Heart and dual hearts exclusive to Gray and Pink sets respectively?  Why not mix them? 

In any event, thank you for including the standard legends as well!

P.S.: Is it settled that this set will be SA profile?

Why have the grey modifiers different arrow keys? Is that on purpose? I prefer the pink on white arrows over the pink on grey triangles

Ah that... I mean to make each kit had its own theme so you can have a fresh feeling over one choice.

And I intend to do it as regular DCS set to have the keys more slender and delicate like Valentine items, and may be suits the girls's taste better than huge and rough SA keys.

@esoonmenona: I would like to make each kit has its own features so I don't intend to include all custom symbols to any kit. And those symbols are not final yet because I still have to check with SP to see whether it could be done or not.

that could be true, but you will also have people who will not purchase the set at all due to the legend preference, therefore the price for the mods would be higher.
and of course you will also have people who will just purchase all the sets...

it all comes down to what the masses want, like I said before, I wouldnt mind paying a bit extra for the round 1 legend since I prefer that style so much more.

As discussed here, there are disadvantages to doing exact reruns.  And the price issue is definitely a good factor to consider if you include too many things.  Just because a handful of people would be happy to pay an extra $20 to include everything possible, it could also mean losing a bunch of people / end up with unpaid invoices in cases of low budgets.

That key is the unique feature of Valentine round 1 keyset. I didn't provide separate key back at that time also, so no I don't intend to bring it back now or later.

But I promise the Valentine set this time will have a cooler feature for every White base. Wait and see
