Guys, I need feedback, do you think they keycaps would look better with white etched portion being more clear (At the moment it is completely white).

I'll post a picture of what I mean.

3 that I finished.

I am still testing out the color on the etching. It will be hard to maintain the white, since the choloroform used while fusing tends to seep and cause some parts to lose the white. Still, if it doesn't, over time with finger oils, and natural wear, the white would fade off as it is nothing but the residual powder from the laser etching.

The CC is only for me and the first one I made, to please the CC gods!

Hopefully I didn't hold up progress (doesn't look like I did, these look badASS, so glad Spy vs Spy turned out as well as it looks to have), was driving back to DC from Houston (just got married!), and just now got in. Payment is in tho!

I think the more clear option looks a little cleaner. It gives off a different reflection when backlit and you can see the design better (or it may just be the picture). It is hard to tell that the middle one is bunny's avatar.

I was trying to figure it out. Looked like a zergling or something. It's totally BL.

That being said, I like the "Frosted" look a thousand times better than the white.

Yes, the clearer/frosted-type look is much better in my opinion.

it sounds like the white option isn't really an option since it will eventually wear off.
unless he put a clear coat on top or something to seal the dead acrylic skin cells in place

What settings are being used with the laser? Those look like rather low fidelity engravings. I'm used to seeing far more detail from laser engraved acrylic.

I do not operate the laser directly, but, from the settings that I did see, I think the one that pertains to the scan lines is the DPI? Correct me if wrong. And the setting that was used was 280, how much would you suggest?

i think maybe its the second one in from left (above one) Pictures arent good enough.

You can made with new logo on your cap that you created but we are not agree if you used CC skull 's logo, Smile logo from DangWang, Gasmask from Gasmask factory and other logo from other creator ....... It's genuine by CC, Gasmask ..... and infect in value of each genuine.

Exemple: If you pay 500$ for Translucent Skull by Click Clark on GH market, are you accept other guy who made replicate and sale it on GH market

It was cleared earlier that the Skull is not for sale and is one I mad for myself. Same goes for the hapster, which litster will decide after seeing the final product if he wants to allow production of these.

Further slightly bad news, my guy's polishing dude has backed out, since polishing these is a PITA due to the small size.

I have gotten him to look for a new polishing person. I will keep you guys up-to-date. Sorry for the delay, however ti is a good thing that this is happening in the protoype face, so we can iron out the kinks for the actual GB later.

New update and good news, my guy has agreed to get them polished along with the keychains, so that should be complete by next weekend.

If you placed an order for the GH keychain, I will send you ceamocaps (The prototypes) with it, unless you tell me not to and want the second batch of ceamocaps (Which will still be some time as the GB hasn't even begun) and the prototype ceamocaps and keychain all sent later.

The ceamocaps have been sent for polishing.

I would day these were somewhat a success with some needed changes, which I have noted.

Now since these are custom designed, if we have a GB for this, it will be longer than my usual GB because of individual designs, so I have decided to ship all the ceamocaps that were ordered for the prototyping and send them out.

Those that ordered a GH 6th anniv. keychain will get their ceamocap with that order and these people are:

All that said and done, I will most likely have the GB start at the end of this month, once most people from this round get their ceamocaps, the keychains are shipped, the TVS-e Gold's are shipped and the sticker GB enters production phase. Thus less wait on my shoulders.

The GB would be up for ordering for two months or so up until next year.

It's best to say, I'm not incredible happy, I do see potential. But some things need to be sorted out.

And I was made a great fool a number of times by the worksman here in India, it's safe to say, they won't be getting any more orders from me, and it isn't like it affects them.
