last weekend i found this clicky keyboard at a local flea market.
Now i'm wondering what this thing is, since i couldn't find any information on the switch nor searching for the serial number.

Hate to disagree with our favourite moose, but I don't think this is a really good idea. Why would we put all these discussions in one single thread and risk the worst kinds of mixups and misunderstandings? Sorry, I don't see a lot of sense in that.

Everyone who wants to ask a question like that will most likely use the search function to find it anyway (if she tries to find it before asking at all). How does one long thread with all kinds of mixed keyboards and anwers help? What if I someone can identify or add information for a keyboard that was asked for months (or years) ago? Many small threads seem more practical to me.

If you have one thread like the Simple Questions thread, then the search works by context and it will only search in the thread. In other words, if I open this thread and then search for "MX Poker", all the posts with a Poker will come up. The context search seems to work better than the overall site search. Still not as good as the "Site:Geekhack.org" search on Google but it's nice.

I say, one topic per keyboard. Much easier to reference topics from a wiki when each topic only has one … topic, you could call it … to be concerned with. Also much easier to discuss, since you don't risk interleaved discussion where it's hard to follow which keyboard is being discussed where.
