Guys, just message Feng. I didn't get in on the group buy but bought some left overs off him. Got a 33-key blank set and it's amazing.

Every key feels solid, has a great shine an it just amazing overall.

Just got your Zincs yesterday, the GF wondered what could be so heavy in one small box......go figure.

Anyway the Postal System had raped the hell out of it, part of the box was missing with some clear tape wrapped around it. Yet all the keys were packaged nicely inside their sleeves, yet to check if all are there.

It's just as well the keys are 'metallic' because if they were ABS or PBT they would definitely be in pieces.

Thanks for selling me these babies, they will all go into a Filco tonight.

Have just put them into the Green MKC case, and it really is nice. With the light coming off the LCD screen it looks like Las Vegas at Night.

Just the feel of the metal keys are far different from using anything produced in ABS or PBT. The temperature of the Zincs are never high no matter how much time you spend on the keyboard, it's always cool to the touch. I imagine it would be too cold to use in the Winter were there's snow and ice but here in Perth it's perfect.

I know everyone gets excited about PBT's and ABS but these babies really make typing an extreme comfort, they never stain from any dead skin (like what PBT's do) and the sweat never makes them slippery like ABS.

I suspect they will out live me now, plus the quality of them is right up there with Japanese/Taiwanese made goods. Each key is perfect and hand finished to a high standard.

I think MKC is now shifting into high gear now, or I just lucked out in getting the very best from these guys. I will always be buying more Metal in the future, it's far better than anything in plastic.

Feng, please ask them if they'll ever make any extra Zinc Space-bars? I don't care what it'll cost as long as I can get an all Zinc Space-bar.

feng will deliver again, I think he waits to build up interest then does a huge batch at one time from the factory so he saves on shipping and gets a good price. I want a complete set of modifiers! I am considering driving 6 hours to St. Louis to harass him for some more keys!

That would be really heavy I think. It might even be too heavy for blues/reds.

How are your guys' caps holding up after prolonged use? Not sure how gingerly I should treat my zinc arrow cluster and Esc key.

I'm regularly using the first gen gold colored zinc caps with legends on my poker for my alpha and second gen for the rest and they're showing no sign of fading or wear. They look like the day I put them on. However I'm not a heavy typer but still use them every day. I've been using them for at least 6 months. I'm curious if anyone else who types more is having issues? Hope not.
